Dianara
Animation inspired by a sculpture by Emanuele Scuotto

During a visit to La Scarabattola’s workshop, Emanuele Scuotto – artist and master of Neapolitan nativity art – guided me through sacred, profane, and deeply symbolic works. Among the shepherds, he also showed me some of his personal creations, part of the Memorie Ipogee exhibition.
Madre Dolore by Daniele Sanzone
Animated book trailer

Version with the voice-over by Claudio Santamaria
For this project, I created the official booktrailer for the novel Madre Dolore, a noir set in Scampia and written by Daniele Sanzone. The story follows Mirco Del Gaudio, a former boxer and head of the Scampia police station, as he investigates the mysterious case of an alleged suicide.
Cerbero Ghostbuster
Intro for a podcast • Cartoon parody
Back in the 2020 lockdown, I came across a podcast that kept me company during some truly surreal months. The three streamers behind it tackled topics like politics, social rights, youth issues, and exposed shady online creators with wit and insight.
"Famme capì" by 'A67 feat. Séverine Seba
Animated music video • 2D motion graphics • character animation • visual storytelling

The project
Official music video for "Famme capì", a song by 'A67 feat. Séverine Seba from the album Nemesi, produced by Betty Wrong. The track is part of Nemesi d’amore e di anarchia, a music and literary anthology published by Baldini+Castoldi, featuring stories by 18 writers inspired by the songs.
Entirely animated, the video tells a story of unrequited love through a symbolic aesthetic made of LED outlines and emotional scenes set against a black background.
SCAMPIA - story of a dream
Animated short film written by Sergio Chianese

“SCAMPIA - story of a dream” is a fully musical animated short film, created in collaboration with a young screenwriter and two musicians. Set among the iconic Vele buildings of Scampia (Naples), it tells the story of a little girl who dreams of a different neighborhood: no longer grey and still, but vibrant, colorful, and full of play and wonder.
“Naples Calling” by ‘A67
Social animated music video

This was my very first commissioned animated music video. Created in 2018 and released in 2020 (on the 40th anniversary of London Calling by The Clash), it accompanied the launch of the album Naples Calling by ‘A67 and still holds a special place in my heart.
Watching it today, I see a thousand flaws — but also the long road I’ve walked since then. It’s a faithful snapshot of an important stage in my career: the first project I handled entirely on my own, with a style still searching for itself and a technique yet to be refined.
The concept is powerful: a Naples calling itself, through its most iconic mask, Pulcinella, who, in order to awaken its people from resignation, resorts to an extreme act: he sets himself on fire in Piazza Mercato. A place rich in symbolism — the birthplace of Masaniello and execution site of Eleonora Pimentel Fonseca in 1799. A revolutionary Pulcinella, sacrificing himself like Jan Palach during the Prague Spring.
