Cerbero Ghostbuster
Intro for a podcast • Cartoon parody
Back in the 2020 lockdown, I came across a podcast that kept me company during some truly surreal months. The three streamers behind it tackled topics like politics, social rights, youth issues, and exposed shady online creators with wit and insight.
While the podcast was still running, I felt the urge to pay tribute with a personal project: an animated intro inspired by The Real Ghostbusters, reimagining them as the protagonists. I turned the streamers into digital ghostbusters, chasing down “ghosts” shaped like scammy streamers they used to unmask on the show.
The style is a cartoon parody à la MeatCanyon, with vibrant colors and animation that channels ‘80s cartoon vibes. The music is an Italian reinterpretation of the Ghostbusters theme, featuring original lyrics I wrote to mirror the English version’s rhythm, accents, and sonic flow. The track was rearranged and performed — somewhat drunkenly — by yours truly.
It was a spontaneous, passion-driven creation, a way to say “thank you.” About a year later, the podcast ended, but fans warmly embraced the video and its message.
